Photo Shoot Planning

for my shoot i need to think about a few things, i need to think about composition and the actually idea of portraying the mixed heritage idea. some ideas i have for this are:

• use old objects that my nan has, for example; old clothes, photos, ration book etc.
• take a series of photos that show the heritage well, for example use a photo from the past and then i will take one from the present time.
• shoot on black and white film.
• i want to scan the images in and change the contrast to make the detail stand out more clearly.
• use quite a mellow lighting from the front, i dont want the images very bright because i think if they are a bit dim they will look a little older.

i will start taking photos next week but i will try some practice shots this weekend to see what settings i need to change etc.
